Please join us in Stockholm in May! You have a golden opportunity to find out more about Contextual Behavioral Science (CBS), which has been established as an important field of study.
This will be a unique opportunity for professionals and students who want to know more about how behavioral science can change the world.
Don’t miss the chance to listen to well-known speakers as well as researchers and clinicians from the Nordic countries, Europe and the U.S. We look forward to presentations by:
Steven C. Hayes
After the success of the first Nordic meeting, in November 2012, we hope to see interested colleagues and students from many professions in May. We are especially eager to provide a meeting place that will be closer to home for many participants. This ACBS Nordic Forum has the following structure:
Thursday is our education day, intended for those who want to learn or review the fundamentals of contextual behavioral science or find out more about specific areas of interest. Presentations will be useful for a variety of professions, including psychologists, psychiatrists as well as pain physicians, physical therapists, nurses, counselors and students in these educational programs.
Friday is the day for presentations by well-known clinicians and researchers to share their research findings and clinical experience with us. Participants can expect to listen to updates of both the theory and practice of various forms of contextual behavioral science. The day will conclude with Poster Sessions, which will give students and practitioners the opportunity to come in contact with colleagues who share their interests.
Saturday offers participants the opportunity to attend workshops, symposiums and panel discussions which explore the challenges and controversies in the field.
We would love to see you in May! We can’t promise you three days of sunshine and spring flowers but we can promise you that you will have increased your understanding of CBS and met new people who share your interests!
